Rovers’ pre-season friendly at Accrington Stanley this weekend will now just be one 90-minute match.

John Eustace’s side were due to kick-off their summer schedule with two 60-minute games against our Lancashire neighbours, as had been the case in previous years.

However, Rovers and Stanley have now agreed to play one 90-minute match at the Wham Stadium on Saturday (July 6th), kick-off 2pm.

It will be the first of several pre-season friendlies ahead of the 2024-25 Championship campaign, with Rovers also set to face Tranmere Rovers, FC Nurnberg, Morecambe and Wigan Athletic over the coming weeks, with the game against Stockport County now to be confirmed after the two clubs were drawn against each other in the first round of the Carabao Cup.

Rovers have been given an allocation of 2,631 tickets for the Accrington Stanley fixture, priced at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.

Supporters can purchase their tickets by clicking here, by visiting the Ticket Office at Ewood Park or by calling 01254 372000.
