Sam Gallagher has today joined fellow Championship club Stoke City on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee.
The 28-year-old striker first arrived at Ewood Park on a season-long loan from Southampton in 2016-17, netting 12 goals in 47 games.
He returned to Rovers on a permanent basis in the summer of 2019 and went on to score 37 goals in a further 188 appearances for the club.
Rovers would like to thank Sam for his efforts in a blue-and-white shirt and we wish him well in his future career.
