Bio

The left-back joined Rovers on loan from Aston Villa in January 2024 on a loan deal until the end of the 2023-24 season from the Premier League high-flyers.

Chrisene started his career with Exeter City, becoming his hometown club’s youngest-ever player in August 2019 in a Carabao Cup tie against Coventry City when he made his debut aged just 15.

After making five appearances for the Grecians, the talented teenager joined Aston Villa a year later and made his debut in an FA Cup third-round tie against Liverpool in January 2021.

He signed his first professional contract with the Midlands club a few days later and rounded off a dream debut season at Villa Park by scoring the opening goal in the 2-1 FA Youth Cup final victory over Liverpool in May 2021.

Chrisene joined Kilmarnock on a season-long loan deal in 2022-23 and made 16 appearances for the Scottish Premiership side before his campaign was curtailed due to injury.

The highly-rated full-back is capped by England at various youth levels and made his Under-19s debut alongside ex-Rover Adam Wharton in a 2-0 victory over Montenegro in September 2022.
